       If the overall system diversity factor is 1.35.Detremine (i) Maximum Demand and
       (ii) connected load of each type?
3.      a) What is tariff? What are its desirable characteristics?
b) A generating station has maximum demand of 75MW and yearly load factor of
    40%.Generating costs inclusive of station capital cost are Rs 60per annum per kW demand plus 4 paisa per kWh transmitted. The annual capital costs for transmission system are Rs 20,00,000  and for distribution system Rs15,00,000;The respective diversity factors being 1.2 and 1.25.The efficiency of the transmission system is 90% and distribution system inclusive of substation losses is 85%.Find the yearly cost per kW demand and cost per kWh supplied
(i)                 at substation (ii) at the consumer premises
4.      a) what are different types of tariff and explain them in brief ?
b)  What is cost of electrical energy Explain about fixed cost ,semi fixed cost and
     running cost?

7.      (a) Explain about disadvantages of low power factor? What are the methods of improving the power factor? Explain about synchronous Condenser method?(3M)
(b) what is bus bar give the classification of busbar arrangenents. Explain Main and Transfer busbar with help of neat diagram
